Antonina Shevchenko

Antonina is a Kyrgyzstani Peruvian Muay thai fighter, mixed martial artist, and competes in the UFC flyweight division. Valentina Shevchenko who was a former UFC Flyweight titleholder, and UFC other fighter, is her older sister. Antonina Shevchenko began her combat sport career with a Muay Thai Kickboxer and debuted at the IFMA World Championship Tournament 2003 Shevchenko won the tournament and defeated Suzane Miller in the finals by a unanimity. Antonina was awarded a medal of silver in 2007 and an award of bronze in 2008, and a gold medal gold in the year 2011. Antonina was also named IFMA World Amateur Muay Thailand Champion 2016 by the IFMA. Antonia began her professional journey in 2003, and she was the winner of her the WKC K-1 Light Welterweight World Championship in 2012. She also won the Lion Fight Lightweight Championship in 2016 as well as the WMC as well as the Phoenix FC World Championships in 2016. Antonina was most recently seen battling Isa TIDBLAD Keskikangas at The Phoenix Fighting Championship. She won via unanimous verdict. Antonina Shevchenko set the professional MMA record in 2002 during the KFK Cup of Kyrgystan against Anara Bayanova. She won 3-0 following the second-round TKO. Shevchenko made her comeback in 2017 with Anissa Diddaoui. Shevchenko beat Anissa by unanimous decision before she fought Valerie Domergue in Phoenix FC 4. She was a part of the Dana White Contender Series 2018 after leaving the promotion. Shevchenko defeated Jaimelene Nievera on Dana White Tuesday Night Contender Series 11. Antonina made use of superior striking to TKO Nievera by knees to her body during the clinch. Antonina Shevchenko received a UFC Contract after this victory. Antonina Shychenko debuted in the UFC at TUF's Heavy Hitters finals, where she faced Ji Yeon Kim. This fight earned Antonina the Fight of the Night bonus. Shevchenko lost 1-2 in her next 3-fights, defeating Ariane Lipski, and then losing to Katlyn Chookagian as well as Andrea Lee. Antonina lost her last fight to Casey O'Neill via TKO at UFC Fight Night Santos -Walker.
