Laura Linney

Laura Linney was born in New York in New York on the 5th of February, 1964. She is an American actor who is well-known for her capacity to play tough characters, but also at risk. Linney has a theater background, since her father is the playwright Romulus Linney. She graduated in 1986 from Brown University. She then studied Theatre Arts at the Arts Theatre School Moscow before getting her degree from Juilliard School with a M.F.A. New York City 1990. In 1990, she began in her Broadway career. Her work was highly praised, including the two shows Hedda Gabrieller as well as Six Degrees of Separation.
